The Apartment

Situated in a desirable area of Armação de Pêra, this high-spec. apartment is beautifully appointed and furnished and benefits from secure, underground car parking. The building's entrance is wheelchair-friendly, with a ramp leading to the capacious lift (elevator) which stops right outside the apartment door. Inside, the doors are all generously wide, and afford wheelchair mobility.

The apartment sleeps up to six, having two double bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. Patio doors in the spacious living room give out onto a private balcony with a barbecue station. As it's situated on the fourth floor, you'll enjoy the fine views.

The communal swimming pool is located on the roof, affording not only exclusivity, but also spectacular outlooks.

It's only a short walk to the local amenities, with plenty of bars and restaurants from which to choose. And those sandy Algarve beaches are equally handy to reach, the nearest being only 300 metres away!

Getting There

The apartment is around 54 kilometres (33 miles) from Faro Airport and can be reached in 40 minutes or less by car. Taxis are comparatively reasonable and an airport transfer can be arranged at a competitive rate.

If driving a hire car, using the motorway isn't the shortest route, but is by far the easiest. Head out of the airport complex. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto N125-10 for 2.9 km. Take a slight right onto the ramp to Portimão/ Loulé/ Lisboa for 600 metres. Merge into the IC4 for 7.5 km. Merge onto A22 via the ramp to Albufeira/ Portimão/ Lisboa. 

After about 36 km of motorway driving, take exit 7 toward Alcantarilha for 1.2 km. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto N125 heading to Lagoa/ Portimão/ Lagos. Turn left toward Caminho dos Montes Mourinhos and around 300 metres later, turn right, then left, then right again. Quinta dos Arcos will be on your right.

Kitchen
Fully-fitted,  with cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle, iron/ironing board, and ample crockery, utensils and kitchen equipment to cope with up to six people.

Living Room
Large and luxurious, with patio doors that lead onto the balcony. There is an extendable dining table that seats six. For relaxation, there are two sofas (one is the sofa-bed), chairs and a TV/DVD station that can play CDs for background music.

Sleeping Arrangements

Bedroom 1
With two single beds, that can be made into a double. A fitted wardrobe affords ample storage space.

Bedroom 2
There are two single beds, that can be made into a double. Storage is afforded by a chest of drawers.
 

Extra sleeping flexibility is offered in that the living room has a sofa bed, and air beds can be made available, if requested.

Bathroom
This room is fully-tiled and offers bath, shower, WC, bidet and washbasin.

Entertainment Equipment
There's a TV set with DVD player.

 Other Amenities

• Air conditioning to ensure optimum comfort.
• Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided.
• Ironing board and iron.
• Safety features include: smoke and CO₂ detectors;fire extinguisher, fire blanket and first aid kit (wall-mounted in the kitchen).
• For security of valuables, a small safe is available.

Outside:

Balcony
The living room gives access to the balcony, where the barbeque station can be employed for al fresco dining. 

Pool

On the rooftop, with panoramic views and offering a pleasant way to cool off in the day's heat.

Parking
The underground car park has lift (elevator) access to the other floors.

Cleaning/Servicing

All linen and towels are provided except for beach towels, which as usual must be your own supply. Maid service and cleaning take place weekly, but can be more frequent (at extra charge). 'Meet and Greet' can be provided upon request. 

Changeover:

Choice of day is completely flexible and can be agreed to suit your requirements, prior to booking.

Surrounding Area:

There are lots of outdoor activities: from superb golf courses, watersports ( diving, snorkelling, game fishing and sailing) or try horse riding, microlight flying, dolphin watching from power boats, bird watching, zoo, crazy golf, lawn bowls, aquatic parks or just having a lazy, sunny vacation - the choice is yours. .

Prices:

Price per week, from £375 to £600, depending on time of year.

Price Notes

A second-week discount of 10% is available between May & September.
A second-week discount of 20% is available between October & April.

Rentals for less than 1 week are welcome and will be charged on a pro rata basis (please feel free to contact us for a quote). Long term Winter breaks also available.

Booking Notes

A payment of 25% or £100 (whichever is greater) secures your booking. Balance to be paid within 6 weeks prior to arrival. There is a refundable damage deposit of £150 (or euro equivalent) to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. The deposit will be refunded one week after departure, subject to no damage.

Points of Interest

Quinta dos Arcos is a favoured area of Armação de Pêra, one of the most popular beach areas in the Algarve region.  

For the golfer there are splendid nearby courses at Salgados, Vale do Milho, Quinta do Gramacho and Vale de Pinta. If you are prepared to travel a bit further, there are several more available. 

The beaches stretch a long way, with plenty of local amenities for all ages to enjoy. Watersports can be enjoyed locally, and kids always adore Zoomarine at Guia (where there's also a shopping centre to explore).

Exploring 

Being situated fairly centrally between Faro airport and the western coast, Armação de Pêra is a great spot from which to base some exploratory trips and discover more of the Algarve's delights. 

The motorway bisects the region, which is only around 30 miles (48 kilometres) deep from coast to northern extreme, so pretty much anywhere is a quick hop in a car. The Algarve's your oyster!
