Algarve Apartment Rental

Some of my best and fondest vacation memories date from my first Algarve apartment rental.

And there's a simple reason for that: take a fabulous climate, add friendly locals, numerous fun pastimes and wonderful accommodation, and what do you get?... a fantastic vacation, that's what!

On this page and others, I will be showing you some choice locations where you can enjoy your own memory-making Algarve apartment rental. If you like the photographs, you'll just love the real thing!

Loulé - Casa do Forno 

Casa do Forno cottage is a one bedroom rustic duplex cottage, tastefully decorated, yet retaining many original features.

Although rustic in style, the cottage has modern comforts. With its high sloping ceilings, this cottage is always cool in the summer.  The cottage is a haven for adults only.

Loulé - Lemon Cottage 

The Lemon Cottage is a peaceful, relaxing hideaway with a light and airy feel. This cottage, together with neighbouring Carob cottage (below), is ideal for two couples wishing to holiday together, but with the option of privacy when required.

Although traditionally rustic in aspect, it has all the conveniences you require to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable Algarve apartment rental vacation.

Loulé - Carob Cottage

The Carob is the sunniest Algarve apartment rental cottage you could wish for.  This cottage, together with neighbouring Lemon cottage (above), is ideal for two couples wishing to holiday together, but with the option of privacy when required.

Patio doors leading onto a private south-facing terrace with a table and chairs, cushioned reclining chairs and a private brick-built barbeque. You can drink in the sights, sounds and scents of the lovely garden and enjoy the sun on this terrace well into late evening.

Loulé - Orange Cottage 

The Orange Cottage is a large two bedroom rustic cottage of traditional Algarvian style with whitewashed walls. It oozes charm and style, being 'countrified' yet with modern comforts.  Part of the original farmhouse and having high sloping ceilings, this cottage is always cool in the summer.  The feel is one of 'home from home'.

There is also a large covered terrace with a cane ceiling and wooden beams for alfresco dining. Vibrant bougainvillea, jasmine and hibiscus drape the exterior, and there are rock gardens and pot plants sprinkled all around, with shrubs, palms, and fruit trees all adding to the air of peaceful tranquillity.

Armação de Pêra - Vila Nova 

Fancy a sun-drenched vacation in a gorgeous 2-bed apartment with sea views close to one of the finest Algarve beaches? 

Sound good so far? Then how about throwing in a fantastic on-site swimming pool, beautiful, landscaped gardens and a secure, child-friendly pool and play area...

Great value vacations often start with an Algarve apartment rental, and they don't come much better than this.

Albufeira - São Rafael

This tastefully-decorated and -furnished Algarve apartment rental offers two bedrooms with air conditioning and is located in the popular Sao Rafael holiday village. Only a 35-minute drive from Faro airport, Sao Rafael, in the centre of the Algarve, is a great base from which to explore the region's many places of interest.

Set in several acres of well maintained mature gardens with large communal pool and separate pool for children, the complex is a short walk from a wonderful Algarve beach. The famous town of Albufeira is a 5-minute drive away, and the new marina can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes...

Moncarapacho - Casa Jardim

Set in beautiful grounds, consisting of natural terrain and partly-landscaped gardens, Casa Jardim is a delight to the senses. It offers relaxation and tranquillity and yet is still handily-placed should you wish to venture out and enjoy some Algarve exploration.

A mere 20 minutes from Faro airport, and a similar distance from local attractions such as Tavira, Loulé and São Brás de Alportel, yet even closer to great golf facilities and beaches, the property offers a choice of two single-bedroom apartments with private terraces and those wonderful Jardim (garden) surroundings. 

The 11 x 4 metre pool is available for exercise or cooling off on hot days and the gardens and recreation areas have a variety of shaded seating from which to enjoy the slow passage of Algarve time...

Loulé - Casa Tranquila

This beautifully-finished and comfortable 2-bed apartment is located only a 20-minute drive  from Faro airport, some six kilometres north of Loulé.  It's on the first (top) floor, with its own external staircase access. This affords good views of some pleasant surrounding countryside. There is a large, private terrace on which to enjoy glorious Algarve weather whenever you want.

Close by, you can enjoy the lovely market town of Loulé, with shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, cinema, library, medical centre and a sports complex with tennis, football and Olympic-size indoor and outdoor swimming pools.  

As well as being close to Faro airport the apartment is also a short drive to some fine Algarve beaches.  Even the Spanish border can be reached within 45 minutes, should you wish to visit Spain during your stay. 

And if you fancy some Portuguese sophistication, then the capital, Lisbon, is just two hours distant by car, or you could enjoy the scenic journey by railway (a revelation if you're more used to British railways...)
