Here's my regular take on occurrences in my favourite vacation spot... Absolutely Hopeless...It's a good job I have an off-site blog (at http://algarvebeaches.blogspot.com) otherwise I'd be in even worse shape with this 'keeping things current' routine... Trouble is, I'm still planning my September vacation, and that's where all my energies and thoughts are concentrated just now. I should think the Google spiders have stopped visiting this page, as it's updated so infrequently. Oh well... If it comes to a choice between blogging and sorting my next Algarve holiday, then there's always going to be only one winner! Perhaps when I return from vacation, refreshed and recharged? Saturday 20 August 2005Quick, while it's still June!...Ouch! - I think it's becoming obvious that I'm not really updating this thing as often as I'd intended. But, I can use this opportunity to report that I've added a couple of new pages to this website. During our villa holiday in Boliqueime, we discovered that our nearest neighbouring building (there were only two) was a converted Algarve farmhouse, which now comprises seven vacation apartments with a difference. Although we left it until the morning we left to return home, we did manage to meet the owners and to view all 7 apartments. They were quite charming and not at all your purpose-built, characterless type of apartments. Update: And I've also added a page about Carvoeiro, where we returned to spend a very pleasant afternoon and early evening, during our April 2005 Algarve vacation. Thursday 30 June 2005Oh dear...I've just looked at how long it is since I updated my site blog. Time to hang my head in shame, I think. I've been so busy arranging my last Algarve villa holiday, packing, travelling, taking photographs and updating pages that I've fallen far behind in my blog schedule! So, here I am again to put things to rights... The villa holiday in Boliqueime was great, and you can read about it on my Algarve Villa in Boliqueime page. And we spent a lovely hot day in Tavira, learned more about the place and tried one of its latest attractions. That's the subject of my new Tavira page. Now, I just need to make a belated New Year's resolution to keep this blog updated more often...
