Here's my regular take on occurrences in my favourite vacation spot... Villa Here We Come!I’ve done it! In spite of going through the trauma of moving house and juggling work at the same time, I’ve managed to book a wonderful Algarve villa for our late April Algarve vacation! You’ll have to excuse my over-use of exclamation marks, but how else do you communicate high excitement? Like I say often on my site’s pages, there are some fantastic bargains out there, if you’re prepared to do the homework. Well, this time it’s really paid off, and we’ve exclusive use of a gorgeous 2-bedroom Algarve villa with its own pool and garden for a whole week (wish it were 2). Guess how much? Only £280 (about $530 or 390 Euros). Plus flights, plus car, of course.
We’ll be about a 15-minute drive from Albufeira, so we know there are great beaches to enjoy (not to mention some top-value restaurants). And it’s a shorter hop still to Loulé, where I always enjoy exploring. But we’ll make sure we find out as much as there is to know about Boliqueime (and of course take lots of pics for the website). So, watch this space for news of preparations (can’t wait!) and – eventually, our holiday score card for Boliqueime. I still can’t believe I’ve found it, but I’m soon going to! This Algarve blog is intended to keep you in touch with the latest in Algarve affairs. Even though I can't spend as much time there as I'd like to, that doesn't stop me from endeavouring to stay up-to-date with what's going on in the Algarve and around those gorgeous beaches.
If it’s half as lovely as the photographs suggest, I’m going to be a very happy girl, come April. The location is near Boliqueime, which is somewhere new for us to stay, although we’ve visited before, naturally.
