Algarve Generations

Hi.

I just thought you'd like to hear my tale of the Algarve...

I first visited Albufeira in the late 1970s, along with my husband and two young daughters. It was still a fishing village, really. Great people-food-scenery-lifestyle. I was in love with the Algarve.

Over the years I've been back many, many times. What a joy then, to go back about in the year 2000, with my three grandchildren - almost the same age as my own children when we first went.

OK, we didn't do Albufeira, but rather Tavira on the Eastern Algarve. Almost Albufeira in the 70's...

So I have now introduced two more generations to the "Algarve-Beach-Life."

And my brother, mother-in law, son-in-law's family. Two husbands, friends and neighbours. The list goes on.

Trouble is .... it's not a well kept secret anymore.
