Me in the swimming pool!
The villa is in the Western Algarve, away from the madding crowd, but within a few minutes drive to reportedly some 5 or 6 of the best beaches on the Algarve.
This villa was recommended by a friend who had stayed there.
The villa has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with private pool. It's in a corner plot with beautiful gardens and BBQ - open-plan for 6 or 8 visitors.
It was so comfortable and furnished with everything we needed, just like home and more.
A lot of people say the area is too quiet, but we found that an advantage, as we could sit round the BBQ and pool and just enjoy our own company with a glass or two of the local wine, instead of all the noise that you get from more populated areas. But it took just a 10-minute drive and we were at the beach or busy shopping towns.
